
Nelson Hysa has scored another success, continuing to be undefeated in the professional ring. The champion from Shkodran needed only one round to finish his work with his German opponent, Thorsten Fuchs, in the event held on Thursday evening in "Skënderbej" square in Tirana.
Supported by a fervent public, Hysa entered the ring furiously and in just a few seconds knocked his rival down twice, to secure his 18th career victory in as many duels. A powerful right from Hysa proved fatal for the German, with Fuchs recording his second loss. This triumph was a taste of the title for the Albanian boxer, who brings the WBO European heavyweight title to our country for the first time.
Other Reds - In the big event that was held in the capital, other very important Albanian boxers also entered the ring, who convinced with their performances.
Alban Bërrmeta won the WBO global title, as he successfully defeated a very strong rival like the Nigerian Obina Maheu. The latter before this challenge counted 23 victories by KO in as many duels, to stop the series of triumphs precisely against the boxer from the capital. For Bermete, this was the 17th career victory, remaining undefeated.
Denis Nurja also gave another convincing test, triumphing in the first round against the Venezuelan Angel Barroso. Mikel Çullhaj also continues to climb the ladder in professional boxing. The boxer from Tirana registered his seventh victory in a row in as many duels, as he defeated the Nigerian Kabiru Towolawi.
Ardit Murja, Arjon Kajoshi, Muhamet Qamili, Fabio Koçiu and Xhuzepe Jaka also excelled in their matches, all of whom emerged victorious.
