Known on social media as "United Strand," Ilet has gained a significant online following since October 2024, when he made an unusual promise: he would not cut his hair until Manchester United won five games in a row.
Nearly a year and a half later, Ilet appears with long, curly hair that continues to grow, while his challenge is still awaiting fulfillment.
It could all come to an end on Tuesday. If United beat West Ham, the promise will be fulfilled. After the victory over Tottenham at the weekend, which marked their fourth consecutive success, Ilet reacted enthusiastically in a post on Instagram.
" Kerrick is at the helm, this hair will be gone very quickly. West Ham is the next game, four out of five are done - this is the first time we have had four wins in a row since I started the challenge ," he said.
" This time it's really going to happen. Thank you so much Kerrik – thank you, thank you, thank you."
