With the conclusion of the play-out match between Teuta and Pogradec, the list of teams that will participate in the next season in the Superior Category has been officially completed. The Durrës team managed to triumph in the decisive challenge, ensuring their place in the elite of Albanian football.
Meanwhile, the new season will bring significant changes to the championship's composition. Flamurtari and Bylisi failed to survive, dropping to the First Category.
On the other hand, Skënderbeu and Laçi return to the Superiore after only one season away. Korçarët are expected to be among the contenders, especially with the end of the ban that has penalized the club in recent years, while Laçi remains a team that has traditionally played an important role in the Albanian championship.
Thus, in the next season of the Superior Category, the following will compete: Vllaznia, Elbasani, Egnatia, Dinamo, Partizani, Tirana, Vora, Teuta, Skënderbeu and Laçi.
The teams will fight for the championship title, participation in European cups, but also for survival in the Albanian football elite.
