
The health condition of Juan Itkierdo, the Uruguayan footballer of Nacional, who was admitted to intensive care after suffering a heart attack on Thursday, in the middle of the match against Sao Paulo, has deteriorated in recent hours, according to a related report.

The treating doctors reported that the player was hospitalized "due to cardiac arrest of unspecified origin, due to arrhythmia".
Itkierdo fell on the field of "Morumbi Stadium" in the 84th minute of the second match of the Copa Libertadores for the 1/16 stage of the competition against Sao Paulo.
