
The judge of the preliminary hearing in Rome has approved the plea agreements for former Juventus executives in the "Prisma" investigation into suspected capital gains on player sales (2019-2021).
The plea agreements, ranging from 11 months to 1 year and 8 months (suspended sentences), include Andrea Agnelli, Pavel Nedved and Fabio Paratici, among others. A dismissal of the charges was ordered for Maurizio Arrivabene, another former Juventus executive. The proceedings include various charges of stock market manipulation, obstruction of justice and false invoicing.
Rome Court Judge Anna Maria Gavoni approved on Monday the agreements reached between Juventus' defense and prosecutors Lorenzo del Giudice and Giorgio Orano.
According to the decision, the sentences given are:
Andrea Anjeli (former president): 1 year and 8 months
Pavel Nedved (former vice president): 1 year and 2 months
Fabio Paratici (former sports director): 1 year and 6 months
Cesare Gabasio (legal director): 1 year and 6 months
Stefano Cerrato (CFO): 1 year and 6 months
Marko Re (CFO until 2020): 1 year and 6 months
Stefano Bertola (operational director): 1 year and 6 months
All sentences over one year are suspended, including financial fines. Meanwhile, the case against former CEO Mauricio Arrivabene was dismissed.
The Juventus club itself was fined 156,750 euros.
