The representatives of two Manchester City players are considering a transfer to the Santiago Bernabéu, while possible changes to the Madrid bench could affect the transfer market strategy.
Real Madrid have received an offer to sign Manchester City defender Josko Guardiola. According to Spanish outlet AS, the Croatian defender's representatives have contacted the Madrid club to discuss a possible future move.
Guardiola, 24, has a contract with Manchester City until the summer of 2028. Real Madrid had shown strong interest in him in 2023, but the English club won the race after paying around 90 million euros for his transfer from RB Leipzig.
The report states that there is currently no progress in talks to renew the player's contract with City. For this reason, his agents are considering possible alternatives, while Real Madrid is considered one of the preferred destinations for the Croatian footballer.
Meanwhile, midfielder Bernardo Silva has also been offered to the Madrid club. The 31-year-old Portuguese is expected to leave Manchester City at the end of the season and is said to have rejected an offer from Barcelona.
According to the same source, the possible appointment of Jose Mourinho to the Real Madrid bench could bring significant changes to the Spanish club's sporting and transfer strategy.
