Serie A will play its 37th, or penultimate, round of the season this Sunday, with all matches spread across four different time slots.
Even though Inter mathematically secured the championship title two weeks ago, the race remains open for the European zone and for the last team to be relegated.
The black and blue team will celebrate the title today with the fans at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium and then on the streets of Milan, as this is the last home match for this season.
The first five matches of the day will be played at 12:00, an unusual time for Italian football. This change is related to the development of the final of the “Italian Open” tennis tournament, where Jannik Sinner and Casper Ruud will face off in Rome at 17:00.
For this reason, the derby between Roma and Lazio will be played at noon. The same time will also be held the challenges Como - Parma, Genoa - Milan, Juventus - Fiorentina and Pisa - Napoli, with some of these teams fighting for a place in the European cups.
At 15:00, Inter hosts Verona, a team that has already been relegated to Serie B. Before the match at "Meazza", a festive ceremony will take place, while after the match, the medals and the champion's trophy will be handed out.
The black and blue celebrations will then continue on the streets of Milan with an open-top bus and will end in Duomo Square, where the players will greet the fans.
At 18:00 the Atalanta - Bologna challenge is played, while the last three matches of the evening are scheduled for 20:45. Cagliari faces Torino, Sassuolo hosts Lecce and Udinese challenges Cremonese.
The final round of Serie A will take place next Sunday, when the teams that will secure participation in Europe and those that will survive in the Italian football elite will be finally determined.
