Rudi Vata played an important role in the national team between 1990-2000, even being entrusted with the captain's armband. The former defender of the Albanian national team has analyzed the opponent of the "play-off" phase in the semi-finals, even revealing the weak point of Poland:
" I think now is the test of truth. These two final tests that send us to the World Cup. They prove our strength as a national team. We won the last match against them 2-0. In terms of morale, we are much higher.
But Poland has an extraordinary history in world football. They are very organized and very prepared. I consider them a very strong team. Until March, Albania has maximum opportunities to prepare. Our footballers know how important this match is.
We must not forget, in such meetings, we are required to score goals and for this we need the players in the best form. I hope that Broja, Uzuni and Hoxha will be on their best day. We are a growing group, we have made a very good qualifier.
We have left behind a serious opponent in world football like Serbia. I am convinced, Albanian fans will be numerous in Warsaw. Two battles that put us in a dance that we have never danced before. Let's not forget, the Poles have reached the semifinals of the World Cup.
As a people, they are very proud. They have always produced stars. We are a national team equal to Poland in terms of qualities. Our strategy against them will show a lot, but there is time until March.
"I played against the Poles with Albania, the balance is not positive. If we refer to the current situation, Poland's defense has flaws, they are not fast. With our players in the attack line we can be very efficient, if we strike at the right moment ."
