Tirana qualifies for the semifinals of the Cup of Albania, as it has eliminated Teuta after penalty kicks.
After the first quarter-final match ended goalless, today's challenge at "Elbasan Arena" ended in a 1-1 draw. The 120 minutes ended in a draw, while from the penalty spot, the capitals were more skilful.
In the 28th minute of the match, it was Peposhi, who was correct from the penalty, giving "Djemve te Det" the qualification to the semi-finals.
When it was thought that Teuta would qualify for the semi-finals, Tirana equalized the numbers in the 90th+7th minute. Nikqi shot and the ball was stopped with his hands outside the zone by Vata, while Latif then sent the ball towards the net with an empty goal.
The first challenge ended in a goalless draw and if today's match ends with the current result, Teuta would qualify for the semi-finals and Tirana would be eliminated.
At 17:00, the next quarterfinal match will be played, the one between Vllaznia and Erzen. The first match between these two teams ended with the victory of Shijakas with the result 2-1.
Yesterday, the two return matches of the quarter-final stage were played. Partizan was defeated by Kukësi thanks to the "penalty roulette" and said goodbye to the Cup of Albania, while Egnatia defeated Laçi with a clean score of 3-1 and advanced to the semi-finals.
