Lorent Tolaj has been named Plymouth's Player of the Season in England's "League One" after an impressive season in the third tier of English football. The Albanian striker had a successful season, scoring 21 goals and providing 8 assists in all competitions, in 34 matches played.
The 24-year-old has been a key addition to the English side, having joined the club after a spell at Port Vale, where he also impressed. His form has attracted interest in the transfer market and he is expected to be part of talks over a new deal in the summer. Glasgow Rangers have also been linked with a move.
Despite his good performances in England, Tolaj has not yet been called up to the Albanian national team. So far, he has only played with the Swiss junior teams.
