Albania has concluded its participation in the "Winter Olympic Games" without a medal, after the final competitions in the alpine skiing discipline.
In the slalom competition, Lara Kolturi ranked tenth, failing to secure a place on the podium. Before this competition, in the giant slalom discipline, Kolturi had ranked 16th.
Semire Dauti failed to record a time in the slalom, having been eliminated earlier in the race. Likewise, Kiana Kryeziu, who represented Kosovo, also failed to finish with a valid time.
Lara Kolturi is originally from Italy, but competes under the Albanian flag in international competitions.
The gold medal in the slalom was won by American skier Mikaela Shiffrin. Kamile Rast came in second place, while Ana Sven-Larson secured the bronze medal.
