The U-21 national team won the first friendly match of November against Moldova with a score of 1-0. The Reds played a very good match at the Moldovan national team training center, in “Vadul lui Vodă”, while the winning goal was scored by Burak Alili.

Coach Alban Bushi started the match with this starting lineup: Giulio Veliaj (GK), Diar Vokrri, Gabriel Ramaj, Elton Fikaj, Arlind Kurti, Fabjan Pëndreca, Feta Fetai (C), Aidon Shehu, Burak Alili, Rrok Toma and Kevin Dodaj.

Albania started the match on the attack and in the first minutes was close to scoring with Dodaj, but the red and black striker's attempt was stopped by the post.

A few minutes later, it was Dodaj again who tried with a header, but it was stopped by the goalkeeper. In the 18th minute, Albania unblocked the score with Burak Alili, who scored a Euro goal from a free kick.

The Reds tried again and after a good move they came very close to the second goal with Rrok Toma, who found himself alone in front of the goalkeeper, but his attempt was stopped.

The second half started with a dangerous chance for Moldova, however Albania took control of the game again and went on the attack to score the safety goal.

During the second half, coach Bushi also activated Selimaj, Daka, Ramaj, Kote, Brruti and Bashi. At the end of the match, the Red and Blacks had a golden opportunity to score with Selimaj, but the shot ended up wide.

The Reds managed the advantage well until the end and the match ended with a 1-0 victory for Albania U-21. The U-21 national team will play the second friendly match on November 17 against Ukraine U-21 at “Elbasan Arena”, at 18:00.
