Marash Kumbulla is not having an easy time this season in Spain. The Albanian international, who joined Mallorca with high expectations and had a positive start, has since faced a significant decline in form, mainly due to successive injuries.
Physical problems have prevented the Albanian defender from being regularly active with the team, while the repeated injury situation seems to have also affected his psychological state.

According to Spanish media, Kumbulla has asked the Mallorca club for permission to leave the team for a few days and return to Italy to be with his family. The footballer has argued that the constant injuries have taken a toll on him psychologically and that he needs some time away from the football fields to calm down and recover his condition.
The Spanish club is said to have accepted the Albanian defender's request. A similar situation was seen at Barcelona, where captain Ronald Araujo was temporarily separated from the team at the beginning of this year after some unconvincing performances, in order to recover physically and psychologically. After this period, the Uruguayan defender has returned to the Catalans' disposal.
