Following last night's defeat to Albania in Leskovac, Serbia coach Dragan Stojković "Pixi" has resigned from his position as national team coach. Zoran Mirković will take over as interim coach.
The news was initially confirmed by Stojkovic himself at the press conference, where he stated that he would not travel with the team for the match against Andorra.
The Football Federation of Serbia (FSS) officially announced today that Zoran Mirković, currently the coach of the Serbia U-21 team, will lead the A team in the next World Cup qualifying match.
"Zoran Mirković joined the national team in Niš on Sunday morning together with the technical staff," the FSS announced.
He will be accompanied by assistants Strahinja Pandurović, Lazar Tomić, Aleksandar Kirovski, Dejan Odavič and Bogdan Milićević.
