Bari midfielder Mathias Verreth has lost his 14-month-old son after he passed away. Elliot Charles was admitted to hospital days ago after suffering from virus-like symptoms.
The news shocked the entire community with the club announcing, as a sign of mourning and respect, that they would be leaving the training camp in Rocarazzo, returning to the city. The footballer has of course returned to Belgium, where his family lives.
