Stiven Shpendi is back to scoring in the Italian Serie B. The Albanian striker, who is on loan from Empoli to Cararese, has been the protagonist this weekend for his team, finding the net for the third time this season. So far, the 21-year-old has played in 20 games, but a recent injury has slowed his progress.
Now back, Shpend spoke after the goal to "quatidanosportivo". He said that he feels quite good:
" In terms of form, I feel pretty good now, whereas in the first two weeks after returning I was a little tired because I had been out for a month and a half.
"I feel very good physically and of course I helped the team with this goal, it gives me a lot more confidence and makes me feel even better, " the striker says initially.
Furthermore, he also has a comment on the progress:
" The goal freed me, as well as the entire stadium, because we started the game badly. I'm happy that I scored, but the team was reacting very well. The draw in the end was the right result ," concludes Steven Shpendi.
