UEFA has appointed Albanian referees to officiate a very delicate match for qualification to League B in the League of Nations. Turkey hosts Iceland in a match that may have an important weight for further qualification in group B4 and the match will be led today by Enea Jorgji.
Iceland won the first match against Montenegro, while Turkey was held to a draw by Wales. This makes today's duel very delicate because a victory for the Nordics would put them in a very comfortable position to win the group.
Jorgji has been assigned to direct the match that takes place in Izmir with the help of two assistants Denis Rexha and Ridiger Çokaj, while the fourth referee is another international, Eldorjan Hamiti. Judge Kreshnik Bajramaj has also been assigned as an assistant in VAR, since the responsible judge in VAR is the Italian Luka Paireto.
