Myrto Uzuni will continue his career at Austin FC, even the rumored transfer to Trabzonspor has not been finalized. Despite the player's desire and his approval for the move to the Turkish championship, the agreement between the clubs was not reached.
Sources close to the club say that the main reason for the transfer failure was lack of time, while Austin's financial demands were higher than the offer presented by Trabzonspor. As a result, talks did not proceed to a final agreement.
Uzun wanted this move, which was expected to materialize on the last day of the winter transfer window in Turkey. The Turkish club's offer was worth 6.5 million euros, while another 1.5 million euros were foreseen in the form of bonuses. Austin would also keep 15% of the player's card in case of resale by Trabzonspor.
