PGMOL has released the audio and full transcript from the dramatic final moments of Arsenal's 1-0 win over West Ham, sparking a new wave of debate over the stability and consistency of VAR.
Footage reveals a tense exchange between referee Chris Kavanagh, VAR Darren England and assistant VAR (AVAR) Akil Howson, regarding the 95th-minute equaliser scored by Colm Wilson, which was disallowed.
As officials replayed the goal on the monitor, audio shows that in the AVAR Akil Howson raised concerns several times about Leandro Troshard's actions towards West Ham player Pablo Fornals.
While the VAR team was initially focused on the claim that Pablo Fornals was holding the arm of goalkeeper David Raja, Houson pointed out a possible earlier or parallel foul by Troshard.
" You have Declan Rice and you have Troshard ," Howson said during the review of the action.
Judge Chris Kavanaugh replied : " I don't know what you're trying to tell me, give me a clue ."
VAR : And if you want, you can also consider Declan's actions against Mavropanos in the background. But the foul on the goalkeeper happens earlier.
Referee: Before him, then… After review, West Ham number…
VAR : 19.
Referee : 19. Foul. Confirm the number again, please.
Referee : After review, West Ham player number 19 commits a foul on the goalkeeper. The final decision is a free kick.

VAR literally told the ref to check fouls by Trossard and Rice before the foul on Raya.
The way VAR was huffing like they weren't sure, and when you're not sure, you don't give a foul. pic.twitter.com/7YCEUWBUYu
