A film material where generals of the Albanian Army were wiretapped while discussing in a crucial meeting the fate of the Limion naval base in Saranda and the manner of dismissing Admiral, Artur Meçollari, was delivered today to the premises of the National Bureau of Investigation.
It is about 5 hours of filming, where the main Generals of the Army are eavesdropped on, both in voice and image, as they make decisions guided directly by the Minister of Defense, Olta Xhaçka.
At the request of the BKH officers themselves, the film material was submitted by lawyer Arben Llangozi, who made public the presence of this video, which mentions Bardhyl Kollçaku, at the time Chief of the General Staff of the Army, who later became a Socialist Party MP in the Berat district.
Llangozi submitted the CD with the film material and at the same time provided detailed explanations on the content of the video and the public denunciation he made three days ago regarding the case in question.
For more than 3 years, SPAK has opened a criminal file on this issue, where the main Generals of the Army and the former Minister of Defense, Olta Xhaçka, are at the center of the investigation.
Although several years have passed since the opening of this investigative file, SPAK has still not concretely resolved this issue, either with a decision to send it to trial or with a decision to dismiss it.
Now, after the submission of this video footage of 5 hours of discussion at the meeting, the investigation is expected to progress even further. / Ora News
