The director of the Acromax company, Aldor Nini, provides details on his proposal to SPAK for the establishment of a special platform with the aim of assisting in the fight against electoral crimes on social platforms.
In an interview for "Report TV" with journalist Nertil Agalliu, Nini says that through this platform they make it possible to monitor social media to identify violations that may occur during the campaign and then signal SPAK.
" SPAK has created a strategy together with the CEC regarding the fight against electoral crime. Within this platform, networks are mentioned as an important element, but it will be awaited what kind of reports SPAK and the CEC will receive regarding social networks. Our platform is based on the monitoring that we carry out on social networks regarding the fight we are waging against copyright infringement. We have already converted the same platform and will also use it to identify violations that may be committed during this year's elections. We do not make the final decision whether it is a violation or not, but we do signal this information. We have a system that collects this information on social networks and we are able to differentiate what kind of material this is ", said Nini.
In addition to the proposal, Nini says that they have prepared several cases that they consider electoral violations and will send them to SPAK.
" Seeing the violations that are already happening, we have seen fit to take measures. We have prepared several cases that we will submit this week. We have cases where reports have been made to the media by unidentified parties to the Meta platform in order to close profile pages, posts, comments. All targeted with a context related to the elections, with different candidates, with MPs, of all parties. For example, you talk about Veliaj, Berisha, someone as you like and make thousands of falsified reports so that they close them ," he said.
Another case is that of the DP Facebook page, which says it still uses Basha.
" We have the DP Facebook page that has been hijacked by Basha, whose name has been changed to his Euro-Atlantic party. The process has been initiated against Meta, but from the aspect that it may be a relevant topic for SPAK and the CEC, this is an indication that we will present to Meta with all the evidence that he also has for the review of the issue ," says Nini.
Nini raises the concern of audience or fake clicks.
" We also have another case where videos are uploaded to YouTube and filled with fake clicks. And we have a system that monitors these videos on a daily basis and we can extract information from which countries these clicks came from and whether they are fake. A normal citizen thinks that the campaign has 10 million clicks and thinks that it will be successful and let's vote for it ," emphasizes Nini.
The proposal foresees that any person can report to this center about attacks that occur to them and measures will be taken by SPAK and special groups against platforms such as Meta, YouTube, TikTok, etc. Nini says that Acromax is making this proposal to help, since as he says, the biggest fight in these elections will be on social networks and not in buying votes on the ground.
