The teachers of the Agricultural University of Tirana appeared at SPAK this morning. The reason for their summons to the Public Prosecutor's Office is still unknown.
An in-depth investigation by SPAK (Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime) uncovered a vast scheme to steal public money, involving 24 UBT employees.
According to investigations, these individuals have manipulated and falsified public tenders, creating conditions for illegal profits amounting to 900 million lek.
The GJKKO left 19 out of 24 security measures in force, while 5 people will continue to remain in prison. Specifically, it did not change the security measure "prison arrest" for the administrator of the Agricultural University of Tirana and 4 other officials of this university on charges of violating equality in tenders and falsifying documents.
