The 61st festival worth: 46,666,910 lek
The 62nd Festival (The first estimate submitted to the Governing Council: with the value of 75,607,493.10 lek. This estimate was revised within two days, reducing it to the final value: 60,000,000 lek)
For this final estimate; which is the highest in the entire history of the festival and which exceeds any budget value from the state, SPAK must analyze (how were the relevant offers found to reach this value?!)
After the Governing Council decided that the amount should not exceed 60,000,000 lek, the Artistic Director Bojken Lako, in collaboration with the Organizational Director Izidina Lekaj, reviewed the budget, where they first removed the payments of all the production staff and the symphony orchestra, confirmed by the signed budget.
Careful :
The removed items will be paid again from RTSH funds (so they are de facto added to the real value of the festival budget)
The surprise is that after all staff payments are removed, only the payment of the Organizational Director, Izidina Lekaj, estimated at 400,000 lek in the draft, becomes 529,000 lek in the final estimate. We emphasize that this voice was added only in this festival.
