A fierce debate has taken place between two former police chiefs, Shemsi Prençi and Arben Hajdarmataj, regarding the work of SPAK and its head Altin Dumani.
While Prençi described the head of the Special Structure as an excellent prosecutor who has already provided evidence, Hajdarmataj disagreed. He told "A2 CNN" that Altin Dumani is selective with the files and mainly attacks the opposition.
Excerpts from the debate:
Prençi: When we have several police leaders whose phones have been blocked. Since Rrumbullaku left, there hasn't been a major operation. It's a matter of credibility. We can't make SPAK SpiderMan. Some of the prosecutors are excellent. Let the politicians scold Altin Duman as much as they want. He has given the evidence. Where men are weighed.
Hajdarmataj: Arrested the opposition leader without any evidence.
Prençi: The file won't be finished in two days, I know that very well.
Hajdarmataj: I don't like it, it's like all prosecutors. The incinerator file has been around for 4 years.
Prençi: He is the most honest, the most determined to enforce the law. He was appointed by the internationals
Hajdarmataj: I say Rama appointed him. There are facts...
Prençi: Dumani has given impetus to the prosecution.
