Naureda Llagami, who was one of the three candidates with the most points for the position of new member of the Constitutional Court, has expressed dissatisfaction with the vote held on September 30 at the High Court as the nominating body.
Naureda Llagami received 8 votes, Asim Vokshi 6, and Florian Ballhysa no votes. One vote was found invalid. Since none of the candidates received 3/5 of the votes, Vokshi was automatically elected the winner as he ranked first in points (89.5 points) to replace Holta Zaçaj as a member of the Constitutional Court.
A day after the meeting, Llagami wrote a letter to the Supreme Court, requesting to be recognized and provided with a full copy of the file related to the meeting held to elect the member.
In her request, Llagami requests that audio recordings of the meeting, copies of ballots and any other procedural documents be made available to her, writes shqiptarja.com.
Llagami claims that the vote declared invalid belonged to her, and that she did not receive 8 votes, but 9, i.e. 3 more than candidate Vokshi, who was declared the winner by the score.
Llagami says that her name was listed twice on the ballot, but it was declared invalid intentionally to change the result.
"Request to be acquainted with the complete file (including audio recordings and copies of ballots) and to be provided with a complete copy thereof (including audio recordings and copies of ballots) referred to the Special Meeting of Judges of this court, held on 30.09, at 09:00 at the High Court with the object of "conducting the voting procedure for the election of a member of the Constitutional Court", states her request.
