Commenting on today's speech by Edi Rama at a meeting of the Democratic League of Kosovo, analyst Armand Shkullaku said that he is the last person who can speak about Ibrahim Rugova.
According to Shkullaku, Edi Rama is the politician who has had no mission, purpose and conviction, except that for the sake of power he was ready to make stinking alliances, vile coalitions, sell, distribute and buy.
'To comment on Rama's speech, only one title is enough; Rama knows how to praise someone whom he would like to be like. So if there is a figure with whom Rama is diametrically opposed, it is Ibrahim Rugova. If Rugova throughout his life had a mission, a goal, a conviction, Edi Rama is the politician who had no mission, goal and conviction. It was aimed only at power.
For the sake of power, he was ready to make stinking alliances, vile coalitions, sell, distribute and buy. Second, I would say that Rama is the last person who can speak about Ibrahim Rugova. At first he didn't even know Ibrahim Rugova.
Secondly, there was no indication in his political path that he had a mission or ideal like Rugova. But what is more important, Edi Rama has never believed in the liberation of Kosovo, the independence of Kosovo and the influence that Kosovo has on the entirety of the Albanian nation. The road on which Rama went today in Pristina, he called it, the road that leads nowhere.
He was the person who categorically opposed Sali Berisha, when visas were liberalized for Albania, in order to grant dual citizenship to Kosovo Albanians; if they come to us beyond the mountain, here Saliu wins and remains in power.
