Arrest of Vangjush Dako, lawyer: Show, shameful that we are giving 1 bone to lick public opinion

Lawyer Leonard Karaj has described the arrest of the former mayor of Durrës, Vangjush Dako, as a show.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Karaj said that we cannot make the 18 SPAK prosecutors look like they came from the planet Mars.

"They are people who live among us, they are a product of Albanian society. We want to do justice to the 17 or 18 prosecutors and 100 or 200 judges that we have in all of Albania against the 2 million Albanians who from morning until dinner try to screw each other over. Are you on the fence now or not? We are citizens with morals in the first place", said Karaj.

According to the lawyer, it is not ethical to take a former politician of the majority or the opposition to prison to give him a bone to lick the public opinion.
