The former commander of the Naval Forces, Artur Meçollari, has announced the next scandal of this government. According to him, the Navy Academy in Vlora will soon be demolished and will be given a concession to a strategic investor close to the Royal Family.
Meçollari writes that Minister Pirro Vëngu is expected to sign the demolition of the building these days.

After the demolition of the building, the area of 24,141.58 m2, below the secondary road to Lungomare, is expected to be given as a concession to a strategic investor near the Royal Family. The Navy today has only 4843 m² of the building in its inventory, while the area of 19298.58 m² in front of the building up to Lungomare was handed over to the Ministry of Tourism by VKM in 2017.
The Navy Academy was inaugurated on September 4, 1961 at the Pashaliman Base and in 1962 it was located in this very building that will be demolished soon ", writes Meçollari.
