The May 11 elections were competitive but polarized. This is the assessment of the final report of the OSCE/ODIHR election observation mission.
This time too, the observation mission report, as in the last two election years, 2017 and 2025, noted increased pressure and intimidation of voters, as well as the advantages of the ruling party using administrative resources.
The two analysts, Alban Dudushi and Arjon Sulo, had a clash with each other in the “Top Story” studio. According to Dudushi, Berisha got what he wanted, a seat in Parliament, which Sulo described as untrue.
Excerpts from the debate:
Dudushi: What worries me the most is what is produced in the elections, it is the product of both major parties. They cooked the electoral process in such a way. The SP needed more and got more. Mr. Berisha needed to be there and there he is", said Dudushi.
Sulo: How do you know that's what he wanted?!
Dudushi: He (Berisha) has such a big step.
Sulo: How do you know this?
Dudushi: Yes, we know that. He is worse than Lulzim Basha in 2021. He removed Basha because he said he would defeat Rama. Here is the result.

Dudushi: What connection do I have with Rama?
Sulo: What did they say today about the elections?
Dudushi: They came out and talked about the mountains. How is this resolved? Crying because you deserve it or with perceptions?
Sulo: They don't give a damn about perception. The elections were stolen, you say perception.
Dudushi: Will these people continue to govern or will they get up and leave?! What did the report say in 2021?
Sulo: Like this one, but this one was worse.
