Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha appeared before SPAK today, questioned regarding a complaint filed by Judge Irena Gjoka. The latter has sued him and his daughter for "Insulting the Judge", regarding the attacks and accusations they have made against him.
More details about the process were provided by his lawyer, Genci Gjokutaj. Invited to the 'Task Force' studio, Berisha's lawyer, Genc Gjokutaj, said that the judge was assigned the "Partizani" file by force and not by lottery. The lawyer said that Irena Gjoka's lawsuit for insult is an attempt to put pressure on the leader of the DP.
Genc Gjokutaj: Berisha has anathemaed the judge with 3 surnames Maneku, Shpata, Gjoka, for all the violations she has knowingly committed since she touched her in that file. The first action was that she did not pass it in parliament and after a few months the Constitutional Court also agreed. A plan of measures has been made here. There is no way to blind and block 4 institutions. The Constitutional Court played with its mind because it did not call 1/5 of the deputies. KLP, ILD, KLGj... all dumb.
Berisha is not the author of the news, he is its transmitter. He has the obligation as the leader of the opposition to inform the citizens.
Here they have adopted the opposition's standard with permission. Irena has filed a complaint against Mr. Berisha and his daughter, Malltezi, for insulting the judge.
It's been over a year since we asked the Attorney General's Office to verify Irena's sentence, both administrative and criminal, and we still haven't received it, while it took 10 days for Fredi Beleri.
Why does this happen?
Because you have the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of Justice... The Berisha case took off the blanket of justice and exposed it naked. These are all in collaboration.
These are some stubborn people who still haven't understood that you can't pressure Berisha with this kind of issue. They want to deal with an insult. What are you going to get out of this? Because the fact that Berisha has spoken about is true, and it will burn the hands of the one who has the file. Berisha doesn't lie.
The act of insult occurred in August, but Irena felt it in November. She had not been insulted for 4 months.
Why?
Because at the end of October the investigations were closed, and this without having the duty not to hand over the file. At the moment when she would have filed a complaint against Berisha in August, the complainant would no longer continue the trial against the accused. This is the clearest documentation of the fact that the file was not taken by lot, but was taken by appointment, down to the coercive material that was available for this. These are illegal actions and create doubts about the psycho-emotional state.
