Journalist Artan Hoxha has again brought attention to the Peshkepi massacre, three decades ago on the Albanian-Greek border. Hoxha writes that for this event no one has put water on fire to discover and bring the perpetrators to justice.

Hoxha writes that Sali Berisha, at that time president, did not become one with the relatives of the "Martyrs of the Fatherland", whose decrees bear his signature, but linked his fate with Fredi Beleri and the son of Konstandinos Mitcotakis. , Chirjakon.

Today, Berisha has linked his fate with Fredi Beleri and with the son of Konstantinos Mitcotakis, Qirjakon" , writes Hoxha.

Artan Hoxha's post:

Republic of Albania

The President of the Republic

Gives

Soldier Arsen Llazar Gjini

The order "For the protection of the state border of the Republic of Albania".

With the motivation:

"Falled in charge of the duty of protecting the state border of the Republic of Albania and protecting the lives of comrades"...

Tirana 10.04.1994

Decree No. 809.

President

Sali Berisha

This is the decree of the President of the Republic of Albania, Sali Berisha, declaring Arsen Gjini, the soldier who was executed while defending the homeland, "Martyr of the Motherland".

I don't know what can be a more heroic act than that.

A young man who is not yet 18 years old, sacrifices himself "to protect the native border and the lives of his friends"...

This decree was signed by Sali Berisha, a few hours after the blood of the "Martyr of the Motherland" Arsen Gjini, spilled in the early hours of April 10 by an enemy commando coming from the Greek border, part of which Fredi Bejleri is accused of being. , it wasn't dry yet...

In one month, it will be 30 years since that event, which is known as the "Masakra e Peshkepise".

The attack of April 10, 1994, came from the territory of the Greek state that at that time was governed by Konstandinos Mitcotakis, the father of today's Greek Prime Minister Qirjakos Mitcotakis.

A training unit on the border with Greece, made up of 130 young recruits, who had not even been in the service for two months, was held hostage for hours after a surprise attack by a terrorist commando of MAVI, the Front for the Liberation of Vorio-Epirit.

The terrorists killed the commander of the department Fatmir Shehu (Martyr of the Fatherland) and the soldier in the village Arsen Gjini, whom they had taken to the service with a Kalashnikov without cartridges.

3 decades have passed since the event, which constitutes the most serious encroachment on the territory of the Republic of Albania for more than 80 years, since the "provocations of August 1949", when the Greek army attacked the Albanian territory on several fronts in the south- birth

Even today, after 30 years, the Republic of Albania has not given an answer to the families of the Martyrs of the Motherland and to all Albanians, that "who killed our martyrs"?!

Who attacked the military department of Peshkpia and stole from there an entire military arsenal, which was found a year later, buried in the yard of the apartment of a doctor from Himara in the Greek capital Athens?!

Unfortunately, after three decades, no one in this country, president or ex-president, prime minister or ex-prime minister, MP, politician, opinion columnist or analyst, talks about the killers of the Martyrs of the Fatherland.

Surprisingly, after 30 years, there is only talk about the "violation of human rights" of the members of the terrorist commando, which carried out the "Peshkepi Massacre".

None of them know what happened to the widow of commander Fatmir Shehu, or what happens to his children who have grown up without a father?

Nobody cares where Arsen Gjini's family is and what happened to them?

But today we know that former president Sali Berisha, whose country was attacked and the army he led as commander-in-chief on that night of April 10, 1994, has become one with the relatives of the "Martyrs of the Fatherland", the decrees of to which they bear his signature.

Today, Berisha has linked his fate with Fredi Beleri and with the son of Konstantinos Mitcotakis, Qirjako, who, unable to attack Albania with the army, is attacking and blocking him politically and diplomatically in every institution of the continent.

The only thing that comes to mind in this situation are the verses of the great Ali Asllani:

"...it's time for masks,

But the homeland belongs to the Albanians"...
