The Mufti of Tirana Gazment Teqja, who will represent the Muslim Community of Albania at the inauguration ceremony of the Namazgja Mosque by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has published a video on his account on social networks, where for the first time the premises of interior of the Mosque.
Teqja, who will also be the head of the board of the joint foundation, between KMSH and the other party, which will administer the Namazgja Mosque, says that the Muslim faithful have waited 3 decades to inaugurate the largest mosque in our country.
"The most cordial greetings and the warmest greetings to all Albanian brothers and sisters who believe, but not only, in Albania and all over the world. Today is a great day for God! All the eyes of Albanians and Albania are directed to this great event that will happen today. Opening of the Great Mosque. For over three decades we have been waiting for the opening of this mosque, the construction of this mosque. God willing that became a reality. A few hours separate us from the grand inauguration. I assure you of something, which will be something magnificent.
It will be something wonderful. This mosque will be a source of goodness, a source of beautiful religion, the preservation of tradition. God bless it and God help us to become the best. Oh god thank you! All Albanians rejoice and thank all those who have contributed, be it donors or those who have contributed even in the simplest form to the achievement of this day. God bless you all and I wish you only goodness and prosperity!", says Teqja.
The Namazgja Mosque is an investment worth 30 million euros by the Muslim Community of Turkey. It has a capacity for 5,000 people and an area of 6,000 square meters.
