Meteorologist Anira Gjoni, invited to the show "ABC of the Morning", has made the weather forecast for the coming week, for the month of November, as well as for the winter that is expected to come.
According to her, Albania will experience a November with temperatures higher than the multi-year average and local rainfall mainly in mountainous areas. Gjoni stressed that until Wednesday there will be isolated rainfall in the north and northwest of the country, while an improvement in weather conditions is expected thereafter.
The meteorology added that throughout November, temperatures will remain warm, fluctuating from 16 to 20 degrees Celsius in coastal areas, and 9 to 15 degrees in mountainous areas.
"Until Wednesday we will have local precipitation mainly in mountainous areas, such as Kukës and Lezha. During Wednesday we will have clear weather. Fortunately for us. We are protected from the air masses moving in Italy and from cold air masses. We are more protected due to our geographical position. We are lucky not to face massive floods or storms. Throughout November we do not expect to have a drastic drop in temperatures. Temperatures will continue to be high. On the coast, temperatures will range from 16-20 degrees, in lowlands 15-19 degrees and in mountainous areas 9-15 degrees. This shows that we have relatively high temperatures, they will continue to be like this throughout the month," said the meteorology.
Meanwhile, the winter of 2025–2026 is predicted to be colder than the previous year, with temperatures averaging 2 to 3 degrees lower, but without falling below the multi-year average.
"December will be the one that will bring a decrease in temperatures. During the first two weeks we will have rainfall. November is the month that receives the largest amount of rainfall, although in recent years there has been a decrease. During this month we expect there to be rainfall. As for the winter of 2025-2026, we expect it to be slightly colder than the one of the year before. We expect temperatures to be 2-3 degrees lower. It will be a cold winter but not below the multi-year average. The entire month of November will be with warm temperatures, in some local areas it will be 3-4 degrees higher than the multi-year average", said Gjoni.
