The investigations of the Special Prosecutor's Office on the file of the former high official of the FBI, Charles McGonigal, are the center of the accusations that the opposition often raises against Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Analyst Mentor Kikia says that, however, the opposition did not know how to use this issue politically.
Speaking about SPAK's investigations, Kikia said that the opposition could not turn the mention of Prime Minister Edi Rama into a political advantage in this case.
"The McGonigal part of the scandal has nothing to bring to the surface anymore. It's just that the Albanian opposition is incapable and does not have public support to turn this issue into a political benefit", said Kikia.
The analyst said that it would be a scandal if it were revealed that McGonigal influenced the vetting of some judges and prosecutors.
According to Kiki, this would constitute a real problem.
"The most serious hypothesis, if confirmed, is whether the gentleman influenced the passage of the vetting of persons who today may be giving judicial decisions or in the role of the prosecution body. If this is confirmed, we will face a real problem", said Kikia on Report TV.
