The 'Partizani' file, which indicts former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, is at the GJKKO, where several sessions have been held, within the framework of the preliminary process.
It will be the court that will assess what will happen to the SPAK file, whether it will go to trial, be closed, or be returned for investigation.
Lawyer Edmond Petraj, speaking on Report TV, said that the preliminary judge is the most important in this process as he decides the fate, while Berisha and his son-in-law risk over 10 years in prison if SPAK's accusations are proven.
“ The 'Partizani' file is in the preliminary hearing process.
The judge of this court reviews the investigative file, whether there were regular investigative actions, and after hearing all the claims of the parties, comes up with a decision. The preliminary judge is the most important in the process.
"This determines the fate of the file and the people who have been taken as defendants. I hope we do not have a failure with this file in some specific people ," says lawyer Petraj.
