There is no end to the troubles for the crime bosses and not only, who appear in the interceptions of "Sky Ecc" and "EncroChat". Thanks to these interceptions, SPAK has hit the biggest criminal groups in the country, but it seems that there are many others.
At the beginning of this week, the head of the Federal Prosecution of Belgium, Ann Fransen, came to Tirana, together with several other prosecutors. They met with Altin Duman and SPAK prosecutors.
The focus was precisely the dismantling of Sky Ecc and the attack on the criminal groups that emerge there. We must emphasize that the network was broken down from the Netherlands, Belgium and France. Today SPAK itself reacted to the meeting.
" In separate meetings with other prosecutors of the Special Prosecutor's Office, mechanisms for speeding up communication between the two parties and for a proactive approach to real-time data exchange were also discussed, increasing the efficiency of mutual legal assistance. Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fight against organized crime, drug trafficking and money laundering. This meeting marks an important step of SPAK in fulfilling its objectives by creating a positive perspective for cooperation between Albanian and Belgian authorities in the fight against organized crime, drug trafficking and money laundering. With this new level of engagement and support from European law enforcement agencies, SPAK is significantly increasing its capacities in the fight against organized crime in Albania and the countries of the European Union ", it is emphasized in the announcement of SPAK.
But it seems that after her departure, another chief prosecutor came, this time from the Netherlands, the same country that contributed to the Sky Ecc break-up and that sent many files to Albania. Sue Preenen met with Chief Prosecutor Olsian Çela, while meetings are also expected at SPAK.
The parties discussed the current level of cooperation and focused on identifying efficient ways to strengthen it, through rapid information exchange, parallel investigations and joint investigative groups. Priority will also be given to attacking the criminal assets of persons involved in criminal activities that affect both countries ", announced the General Prosecutor's Office.
In "SkyEcc" and "EncroChat" not only the names of criminals, but also politicians appear. The fact that such high level characters are coming means something big is brewing. / Pamphlet
