A criminal investigation has documented the use of private detectives by individuals connected to the criminal world to verify whether their homes are being monitored by the authorities. The case concerns Erjon Llapushi, a wanted person sentenced to 17 years in prison for the murder of Gazment Kurmaku, an event that occurred on October 2, 2021 in Labinot-Fushë, Elbasan.

According to investigative documents provided by Anila Hoxha, a 45-year-old private detective was hired to search an apartment in Pogradec, which was allegedly used by Llapushi.

He did not remove the device, he put it back behind the wires where it was and put the phase of the socket that gave the measure in place, so as not to get an electric shock and closed the socket again. At this time, the boy who was with him told him that the police had arrived.

The detective stated that she did not know Erion Llapushi and that it was her first time going to that apartment. For the service she would perform, she would be paid 50,000 (fifty thousand) new lek, which includes the service along with the road, which is specified in the company's tariff.
