The Energy Regulatory Authority has approved the new prices for bakeries that are pastry shops and coffee bars.
At the meeting, it was determined that the bakeries, which are also the pastry shops, will buy energy at a price of 9.5 lek per kilowatt/hour. Bakeries, which are pastry shops and coffee shops, will buy energy at a price of 12 lek per kilowatt/hour.
Meanwhile, only for bakeries that do not offer coffee and pastry services, the price of energy will not change, which means that they will buy energy at the price of 7.6 Lek per kilowatt/hour, which is currently the same.
The request to set three bands for the price of electricity in bakeries, depending on the products they produce, was considered today. The proposal was made by the Electricity Distribution Operator, which required that ovens that only make bread pay 7.6 Lek per kilowatt-hour, while those that also produce sweets pay 9.5 Lek. OSHEE's proposal stipulates that ovens that also serve as cafes pay 12 lek for each kilowatt-hour of energy consumed.
