European Union representatives in Tirana held informal meetings with the four candidates running for the leadership of SPAK.
According to journalist Anila Hoxha, two EU representatives met with each of the candidates separately at SPAK premises, asking them about the platform and whether they had any reservations about the process.
The conversations were held in the offices of the candidate prosecutors, Klodian Braho, Elvin Gokaj, Adnan Xholi and Doloreza Musabelliu.
This informal meeting comes after several meetings of internationals near the KLP, who were asked if there were problems with the SPAK competition process and if they had any influence or "threats".
KLP members have held three meetings to set the date when the four candidates will be called for interviews, and although there are three dates under discussion that are within the first week of December, unofficially December 4 is seen as a possible date, but none of the candidates have been announced yet.
Altin Dumani's mandate as Chief Prosecutor ends on December 18 of this year and he will then continue as a prosecutor at SPAK.
Several times, the chargé d'affaires of the American Embassy in Tirana, Nancy VanHorn, has held meetings at the KLP and SPAK, delivering the message of support for the process and the need for transparency.
