Four former residents of the famous television show "Big Brother VIP Albania" became part of the May 11 parliamentary election race.
Actress Julia Ilirjani, tenor Armaldo Kllogjeri, Fotini Derxho and Jetmir Salaj are the four former residents who ran on party lists for MPs.
Actress Julia Ilirjani ran on the Democratic Party's open list in Tirana County. According to the official CEC results, the actress secured only 121 votes.
Tenor Armaldo Kllogjeri ran on the open list of the Democratic Party in the Elbasan District, securing 1,381 votes, but without a parliamentary mandate.
Blogger Fotini Derxho, who ran for Agron Shehaj's Opportunity Party in the Gjirokastra District, failed to secure a single vote.
Former resident Jetmir Salaj ran on the lists of the Albania Initiative Coalition in the Vlora District, where he received only 66 votes.
We recall that tenor Armaldo Kllogjeri was an important factor in the second edition of the "Big Brother Vip" show, which may have helped him secure a high number of votes.
