One of the most important and serious newspapers in Belgrade, "Danas", in an analysis of the developments brought about by the Banjska incident, where a Kosovo policeman was killed and a Serbian armed group was captured, brings even more shocking facts.
Fahrudin Kladniçanin, a well-known political scientist and analyst in Belgrade, originally from Sandžak, points out for the "Danas" newspaper that there were many actors who mediated the withdrawal of the armed group from the siege in Banjska Monastery. According to him, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama was one of these.
Political scientist Fahrudin Kladnicanin tells "Danas" that 'the situation in the north of Kosovo is very complex, and that the citizens who live there are very worried'.
" I had the chance to talk with some of them. There is an atmosphere of honor, which is completely logical, because what happened in Banjska has not been seen in the last fifteen years.
The regime in Belgrade was surprised by the situation in northern Kosovo, and it seems to me that there was a lack of timely intelligence assessment of the situation, and it is simply unbelievable that the plan that was being prepared could be taken into account by the number of people, the amount of weapons and other logistics used.
I must admit that in the context of crisis management, it seems to me that President Vučić was not fully informed, he even seems surprised and confused. It is impossible to understand that something like this is happening and that Belgrade has no idea about it - either the information was hidden, or there is a complete disintegration of the security apparatus", emphasizes Kladnicanin .
On the other hand, Albin Kurti knew very well what was happening, that's why he reacted in this way, because what Pristina did was completely in line with Kurti's agenda, he concludes.
What happened does not suit Belgrade, he believes, but Belgrade should offer help to the Serbian community in Kosovo, as the situation is no longer stable.
" Either the policy, the approach must be changed or a completely new strategy must be found. We saw an amateur armed formation, which may have been a toy in the hands of other foreign factors interested in creating a new, very serious conflict in the north of Kosovo.
Një tjetër faktor i huaj si KFOR dhe ndërmjetësimi i Edi Ramës, kryeministrit të Shqipërisë, arriti të parandalojë një shkallë katastrofike që, nëse do të kishte ndodhur likuidimi masiv i rebelëve të kombësisë serbe, do të kishte ndryshuar tërësisht realitetin politik dhe shoqëror në Ballkanin Perëndimor në dekadat në vijim, dhe atëherë do të kishin hyrë në një rrugë qorre nga e cila do të ishte e vështirë të dilnim”, përfundon Fahrudin Kladniçanin.
Ndërkaq, Sonja Biserko, kryetare e Komitetit të Helsinkit për të Drejtat e Njeriut, thotë për “Danas” se me sulmin terrorist në veri të Kosovës, Serbia ka kërcënuar edhe një herë paqen në Ballkan, e cila mund të ketë implikime më të gjera.
“E vetëdijshme se ai ka kaluar një vijë të kuqe, të cilën Perëndimi nuk mund ta tolerojë, presidenti ia kalon përgjegjësinë Kurtit dhe serbëve në Kosovë dhe se ai nuk e dinte se çfarë po ndodhte. Nëse Vuçiç nuk e dinte se çfarë po ndodhte, atëherë lind pyetja se kush është figura kryesore në Beograd. Njëri nga të vdekurit Bojan Mijailoviç, siç njofton MPB-ja e Kosovës, ishte truproja e Aleksandër Vulin-thotë Sonja Biserko”, ka deklaruar ajo.
“Me sqarimin sa më të madh të informacioneve, thekson ajo, është gjithnjë e më e qartë se ka pasur një skenar për të provokuar një konflikt në mënyrë që ushtria serbe pastaj të hyjë për të mbrojtur popullin serb në veri dhe kështu të realizojë ndarjen e Kosovës. Në disa media serbe po qarkullon teza për një grusht shteti të mundshëm në Serbi, që lë të kuptohet se disa struktura janë bërë të pavarura dhe kanë marrë situatën në duart e tyre, ndoshta në bashkëpunim me një vend të huaj. Ajo tezë synon të amnistojë qeverinë dhe presidentin, por sërish shtrohet pyetja se cili është faktori kryesor në Beograd”, thotë Sonja Biserko.
Sipas saj, përgjegjësi ka edhe bashkësia ndërkombëtare, sepse e toleroi sjelljen e Beogradit për një kohë të gjatë.
“Vuçiç e interpreton këtë si dobësi të Perëndimit dhe e përdor me mjeshtëri për të promovuar axhendën e tij. Është e nevojshme të rivendoset urgjentisht politika perëndimore ndaj Ballkanit Perëndimor dhe trajtimi i barabartë i të gjithë aktorëve në rajon”, përfundon ajo.
Ndërkaq, Biljana Stojkoviç, bashkëkryetare e partisë Zajedno, thotë për 'Danas' se reagimi i shtetarëve serbë është histerik dhe i referohet ekskluzivisht tentativës për të rregulluar imazhin e shkatërruar të Aleksandër Vuçiçit.
" A new wave of nationalism is being unleashed in public opinion, never less necessary, with inevitable slogans that Serbia is with Vučić. I don't know if SNS voters can swallow the story that Vucic is the biggest victim of the event and that he should be comforted and supported. It is shocking that from the "political elite" we cannot hear anything coherent and useful for solving the problem, some kind of plan and strategy. We are hearing the defeatists again, playing the victim and, of course, a necessary support for the president. Once again it is shown that in this ruling group there is no serious politician with brains, vision and courage.
