A red van and a lady wearing a headscarf next to the van talking to children in Tirana, specifically the footage was filmed in the area of Bulevardi i Ri. This footage has been widely circulated on social media and has worried parents.

According to security expert, Fatjon Softa, this situation has several worrying elements and increased attention should be paid to child safety.

"If we analyze this picture, there are three situations. Like a traffic light: green, yellow and red. Green is a situation in which certain groups of associations can carry out activities. They usually use such activities that distribute various materials where they contact mainly children, but also parents; the second scenario could be activities that go towards ideological influence; the third could be attempted kidnapping, which is a very small possibility, almost impossible. And when I say impossible, I mean that we do not have statistics in Albania that result in child kidnappings. But, attention should be increased towards children, mainly from the parents in the first place, but also from the security institutions that have a legal obligation", said Softa on the show "Dita Jonë".

Further, the expert pointed out 3 disturbing elements, according to him, in the video that has been circulating.

"First, the van has no logo. If we're talking about an organization, that lady should have a uniform, a "badge" or something. And the windows of the van are black. Why does it have to be a car with black windows? What is it hiding, what is inside? And why is it hidden from the camera? Is it hidden perhaps because of religion, is it hidden due to shame or is it hidden perhaps because of the actions it does? All the more so because of the sensitivity towards children because Albanians have fresh in their memory those news coming from Italy, where there were attempts in supermarkets to kidnap children. This case must be solved as soon as possible, to calm the community of parents, to calm everyone that there is no one who does not have grandchildren.

According to the expert, "Albania has had some kidnapping elements, but they have mainly been within family members."

"There have been cases where grandparents took the child, did not report it and it was the mother who filed the complaint until they found their location. This accounts for about 80% of cases. We are a small country, we know the territory, we know each other and this possibility is smaller," Softa emphasized.
