OMONIA Secretary Marin Suli in an interview spoke about the protest in Himare that was initiated by the OMONIA organization, with the aim of seeking the release of Beler.
Regarding the participation of the mayors of Greece, he emphasized that their presence was a support for Beleri.
"I don't see it as something bad, why a free European citizen was present in a country that aspires to be European", he said.
Among other things, during the interview, the statement of Prime Minister Edi Rama after the end of this protest was commented on, Suli described it as inappropriate. He also warned that there will be protests again in support of Beler.
" The file is ridiculous and the prosecution used forged documents. This was all done to keep him in prison. Mr. Rama's statements are statements about a Municipality that he has lost, despite the fact that he invested in winning it. We are waiting for the clarification of the decision of the Supreme Court to appeal, and then we will turn to Strasbourg. I do not believe that there will be a repeat of the elections because there will be a great political division.
