Thousands of foreign tourists have invaded our country in these hot summer days, while the Albanian coast remains their favorite.
There are many tourists coming from Italy, while neighboring media have given special importance to this tourist boom.
"Canale 5" television, in a chronicle dedicated to tourists, writes that Tirana Airport speaks Italian, referring here to the many vacationers who come from this country.
"The airport of Tirana speaks Italian. "Never before have there been so many tourists arriving from Italy to spend their vacations, avoiding the expensive prices of our home," writes the Italian media.
The Italian journalist talks about a tourism boom in Albania, comparing Italy with our country, while emphasizing the low prices.
"Airplane, house and car only 150 euros. The coast of Durrës has a long beach line where an umbrella is provided at a reasonable price. 5 euros an umbrella and 2 sunbeds. So here, 5 euros for an umbrella and 2 sunbeds!", says the journalist.
The prices on the beach compared to Italy are much lower, even the food in the restaurants, where seafood attracts tourists but without emptying your wallet, he further states.
With such service and quality, the Italians seem extremely satisfied and are already spreading the good word, positively influencing the increase in the number of tourists from this country from year to year.
"In the last two years, the number of Italian tourists in Albania has increased significantly. In 2022, there were over 70 percent more than in 2021. I started bringing my family and friends, now they are coming by themselves even without me," he emphasizes.
A few kilometers from Durrës is Kavaja, which has a beach with white sand. Here too, Italian tourists have increased a lot in the last two years.
"I really appreciate the place here. I will most likely be back next year."
Some well-known Italian media have reported on the tourist boom in Albania. Meanwhile, 500 thousand Italian citizens have come for vacation in our country this summer season.
