Greece continues to demand freedom for Fredi Beleri. After the visit that minister Stavros Papastavrou made to the prison, his spokesman Pavlos Marinakis reacted to the local media. He stated that a solution must be found to restore democratic normality in Himara.
" A fair solution must be found, within the framework of European law, the rule of law and the principle of good neighborliness ," he said.

Beleri was arrested for vote buying, but Athens insistently demands his release. He has been applying pressure for months, but he has not succeeded. Yesterday was the next trial for Beleri, but it was postponed because the witness requested by the prosecution, who is the brother of the accomplice witness Arsen Rama, did not appear. The SPAK witness who is absent for the second time is Abdyl Rama.
According to the prosecution, Rama is outside the country, while the police claim that he is inside the country. GJKKO has requested that the police find Avdyl Rama and forcefully bring him to the session if he does not agree to come voluntarily.
In the hearing, there was tension between prosecutor Dorina Bejko and the defense.
The prosecutor said: The witness is in Albania, he entered on October 23.
And the defense responded by saying: How do you know, the police should give this information to the court and not to the prosecutor.
The Greek ambassador to Albania was also present at the session. So, the next session is scheduled for December 5 at 3:00 p.m.
