More than 50 residents of the village of Gjoricë in Bulqiza presented themselves yesterday at the health center with symptoms of poisoning. The main cause of the poisoning is suspected to be the drinking water supplied to the area.
According to preliminary laboratory analyses, the water was contaminated. For this reason, the Waterworks has taken measures to cut off the water supply in the area. Residents have presented themselves at the Gjorca health center to receive medical help, while the symptoms are diarrhea and vomiting.
