Commenting on the developments in the Democratic Party and the clash between the two factions of Berisha and Basha, journalist Nikollë Lesi said that the latter has finally taken over the leadership of the party.
In an interview for "Euronews Albania", he stated that there are no more discussions about who will be the leader of this political force and that this story is closed once and for all.
The journalist emphasized that the opposition is in the most desperate state in these 30 years and the only thing that can solve the situation where it is and the return to power, is the protests.
"The opposition is in the most desperate state in these 30 years. For me, Basha has finally taken over the PD. Berisha has lost his historic DP, while Bardhi made a dignified move, but still in a dark tunnel is a small candle and it doesn't seem to me that there will be any big movement. For me, this opposition has only one solution, protest, protest, dignified protest in the square day and night against the government. For protests on Facebook and protests in press statements, Rama governs until 2030 ," said Lesi.
