A serious accident occurred yesterday in Gramsh, resulting in the death of a 43-year-old nurse.
The Order of Nurses of Albania has expressed deep pain and sadness after the tragic loss of nurse Dëshira Hoxha.
In an official statement, the Order described Hoxha as a dedicated professional, mother of three children and loving wife, who for five years served with dignity and responsibility to the community of Kabash village, in Gramsh Municipality.
"The memory and works of Dëshira Hoxha will remain alive and unforgettable in the nursing community and beyond," emphasized Urdhri, expressing the most sincere condolences to the family, relatives and colleagues of the deceased.
The accident occurred after the pickup truck, which was traveling on the Gramsh-Poroçan road near the village of Bardhaj, went off the road and fell into a 70-meter-deep abyss, rolling over several times. As a result, 43-year-old Dëshira Hoxha lost her life, while teacher Albana Boja and driver Shaban Kotorri were seriously injured, and are receiving treatment in hospital. The Traffic Police are continuing investigations to determine the causes of the accident.

Her dedication to patients and the noble mission of nursing made her a respected and beloved figure, both by her colleagues and by the residents of the area where she served," the Order for the deceased states.
