The relocation of the Vlora Cadastre to Tirana has not been well received by the city's residents, who gathered in front of the institution today and expressed concerns that their issues will drag on even longer, as they have not received a solution in the current institution for years.
One of the outraged residents says that this decision is "a grave".
"This is a grave for us, for Vlora. We have 10 or 15 years of documents and they do not serve us. We are against the removal of the Cadastre, even though here they do not receive information and do not represent us, now it will be even worse, it will be blacker, more hellish. We will come, we want the properties, where will we leave them, because the child tells us so many years without documents, shame, great shame. We are the flag square for it", he says.
Meanwhile, another resident says she doesn't receive the proper information, even though she has a construction permit, and now her case will be completely abandoned in Tirana.
"We haven't received any information, but now what are we going to do, it will be moved to Tirana. Now it will be deserted in every corner. We are not receiving any information here, not in Tirana anymore. We don't know what we are going to do, I have a building with a permit and now we don't know what we are going to do ," she said.
But there are also those residents who are still pessimistic, as both in Vlora and Tirana, there will be no solution for them regarding property issues, as they have been dragging on for years.
"I understand, but I have a life with documents, 30 years, millions of lek and no solution, like here and there, I'm not getting a solution," says one of the residents.
