Meteorologist Lajda Porja made the weather forecast, which said that our country will be affected by few moments of rain.
According to her, in addition to rainfall, there will also be snowfall, mainly in the regions of Kukës and Korça. The Meteorology Department also emphasized that January will end unstable, with clouds and precipitation, and February will also start unstable, with precipitation, although it will be scarce.
"The rain has had its interruptions and it is expected that the weather will be more cloudy during the afternoon, there will be moments with raindrops. It is predicted that tomorrow the clouds will be more present and bring a more powerful cloud system, bringing precipitation to our country. It will start in the northwestern areas and gradually, causing the second part of Wednesday and during the night, including Thursday morning, the entire territory to be covered by precipitation that will be in the form of thunderstorms along the western lowlands. Tomorrow night we also expect snowfall mainly in the regions of Kukës and Korça.
Tomorrow there will also be a sea storm, where strong winds will cause problems with maritime traffic, mainly in the Vlora region where the wind will be strongest. On Thursday, precipitation will be present during the morning, while in the second part of the day we will have a decrease in their intensity. So we will have from Wednesday noon to Thursday noon precipitation with medium intensity, but also with showers. The precipitation will not be problematic, as temperatures will be relatively high. The unstable month of January closes, with clouds and precipitation, and the unstable month of February also begins with the presence of precipitation, although they will be few. The region, except for Wednesday when there will be snow and temperatures of -2, on the other days precipitation will be isolated. A significant problem for Kosovo and North Macedonia will be frost on road axes. "Regarding precipitation on Thursday and Friday, it will be minimal, while on Wednesday, in addition to snow, there will also be strong winds," the meteorology department said.
